French Language School in Nice, France
Our language school is situated in a quiet side street right in the centre of Nice, so the old town and the promenade are just a few minutes’ walk away. The nursery is directly opposite the language school.
The charming villa that houses our easy language school dates from the 20th century and features state-of-the-art classrooms in a very beautiful and pleasant setting. Special, child-friendly classrooms are available for your children. The building has Wi-Fi throughout and is wheelchair accessible. During breaks, a lovely, well-tended garden invites you to linger and relax. Our French-speaking nursery, for all children aged 3 and over, is located just on the other side of the courtyard.

Nice is situated right on one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean, in south-eastern France, close to the Italian border. This is where the famous Côte d’Azur begins. Nice Airport is the third-largest in the country and is well connected internationally with many direct flights. Our easy language school is in a superbly central location, right in the heart of the city. The journey time from the airport here is usually around 30 minutes, whether by car or train. Of course, we’d also be happy to book a suitable, personalised transfer for you.
Among other things, Nice is renowned for its beautiful and well-preserved old town, the Vieille Ville, with its Belle Époque buildings, the famous flower market, the Marché aux Fleurs, and the Colline de Château, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view. The stunning turquoise waters along the Promenade des Anglais are also famous. The pebbles here make the water sparkle so beautifully. Cycle along the promenade with your children and make use of the city’s VéloBleu scheme, which allows you to hire bikes easily at every street corner.
Nice, the pearl of the Côte d’Azur. Be sure to explore the surrounding area too. Many lovely little seaside resorts with fine sandy beaches await you and your children. The Maritime Alps beckon with stunning views and idyllic villages.
The TGV offers an alternative way to travel here. The Gare de Nice-Ville long-distance station is, like our language school, very centrally located.

Even the approach to the city is a delight! Your stay here will be both varied and relaxing. It’s not for nothing that Nice is known as ‘the pearl of the Côte d’Azur’.
Nice is beautifully nestled between the nearby Maritime Alps, right on the coast. The city has managed to retain the spirit and charm of days gone by, whilst skilfully developing in a modern way. Today, Nice has everything your heart desires and more. As our easy language school is so well situated, you’ll often find that everything is within easy reach, leaving you free to enjoy your afternoons to the full.
For many activities, even those a little further afield, you don’t necessarily need a car. You can rent the VelóBleu bikes, which we’ve already mentioned, on the spur of the moment at many locations around Nice. The public transport system also runs like clockwork, including punctuality. A weekly ticket is quite affordable and will even take you as far as Monaco or Cap Ferrat.
Nice’s beaches are of a very high standard. There are both public and private beaches. At the private ones, you’ll be treated to some very pleasant service. So, why not treat yourself to one or two afternoons there?
Nice has plenty of culinary variety to offer. Thanks to its proximity to Italy, the ice cream here – for example, at the Fenocchio chain’s outlets – comes highly recommended. At Chez Papa, a lovely little restaurant, you can enjoy traditional French and Mediterranean cuisine. The atmosphere here is pleasantly relaxed and the service is excellent. Children are always welcome here. Moshi Moshi specialises in winning over children’s hearts. An English tea house with a Japanese twist! Here you’ll find creations such as Haribo strawberry muffins or Nutella crunchies.
You’ll really enjoy the relaxed, natural, international atmosphere in the city. Lots of young people, great shopping, galleries, museums and all sorts of events throughout the year. And you’ll be right in the thick of it!!

French Teen Course: Mini (20 lessons) in Nice
Our kids’ and teens’ course is a very intensive mini-group course with a maximum of five children or teenagers. The very small group size and interactive lessons ensure rapid learning progress whilst having fun! All our qualified teachers are native speakers and have relevant experience in teaching children. Please note that children of different proficiency levels may be mixed within the same group.
Outside the summer course dates, the programme runs all year round provided there are at least two children enrolled!

For your family language holiday, we offer a personalised selection of family-friendly holiday flats at all our course locations. The accommodation is all situated close to the school and has been personally selected and inspected by us. Your well-being is very important to us.
The AMMI NICE MASSENA Aparthotel is situated in a pedestrianised area in the centre of Nice, just a few minutes’ walk from the language school, the sea and the old town! Studios and apartments for 2–6 people
are available. All studios are air-conditioned and fully furnished, including a kitchenette with a hotplate, fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, TV and free Wi-Fi.
There are plenty of shops nearby, some of which are also open on Sundays. Particularly worth highlighting is the personalised and friendly service; there are also German-speaking staff members at reception. The price includes a weekly cleaning service. The tourist tax is not included and must be paid on site.

Our easy Family Language School in Nice offers a wide-ranging and exciting leisure programme.
Here are a few examples:

Culture lovers will enjoy concerts, guided museum tours and wine and cheese tastings. The full-day weekend excursions will show you all the sights worth seeing in the area around Nice.
Of course, there are also plenty of interesting things for families to do:
Trips to the Maritime Alps, for example to the pretty little towns of Grasse or Èze, combined with a visit to one of the legendary perfume factories. Here you can have a sniff, enjoy the experience and perhaps take home a souvenir or two.
Parc Phoenix, the discovery park dedicated to exotic animals and plants from all over the world, is also home to ‘the Green Diamond’ (Le Diamant Vert), one of the largest greenhouses in Europe.
The oldest huts in France were built by hunters on Terra Amata Hill near Nice 400,000 years ago. The Musée Terra Amata displays animal bones, ancient tools and replicas of the first huts in which people lived. Well done!
At Confiserie Florian, you can watch right in the workshop as sweets, chocolate, jams and candied fruit are handmade from local fruit and flowers.
Of course, trips to Monaco or Saint-Paul-de-Vence – a beautiful little town also situated in the Maritime Alps – are not to be missed and make for lovely weekend getaways.
