Our easy language school here in Brighton is situated right in the city centre and is only about a 2-minute walk from the beach. There are restaurants and shops right on the school’s doorstep.
Our easy language school in Brighton is perfectly situated in the city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. Restaurants and shops are right on the school’s doorstep. The school has 37 modern, well-equipped classrooms. You’ll have access to free Wi-Fi throughout the school building. For a relaxing break, the school offers a comfortable student lounge and an idyllic garden in the courtyard. For self-study, you can use a computer room with its own internet access. In the summer, additional classrooms at the University of Brighton’s Grand Parade Pavilion, located directly opposite, are also used. This is also where you’ll have your lunch.

Brighton is England’s largest and best-known seaside resort on the Sussex coast. It lies directly south of London. Brighton is just half an hour’s drive from London Gatwick Airport. Brighton is picturesquely and beautifully nestled between the rolling hills of the South Downs and the coast of the English Channel. Our easy language school in Brighton is perfectly situated in the city centre, just a 2-minute walk from the beach.
Brighton has so much to offer. There’s the famous Brighton Pier and the Brighton Wheel, a Ferris wheel from which you can enjoy a stunning and ever-changing view. The Sea Life Centre is also definitely worth a visit. Otherwise, together with your new friends and classmates, you’ll go on some really interesting and cool trips, for example to Stonehenge, Cambridge and, of course, London. Brighton is very easy to explore on foot or by bus. It takes about 2–5 minutes to get to the beach and about 5–10 minutes to reach the city centre. It’s perfect, isn’t it? The easiest way to get there is to fly into London Gatwick Airport. Of course, you can also use Heathrow or Stansted airports, but the journey to Brighton will then take considerably longer. If you’d like, we’d be happy to book a transfer for you from whichever airport you choose.

English Teen Course + Activities – 20 lessons, Brighton
The school programme is a comprehensive package comprising English lessons, accommodation, activities and excursions for pupils from all over the world. In the summer, we use the University of Brighton’s facilities in the city centre – Grand
Parade and Pavilion Parade – for classrooms and for the hot lunch, which is served on site. All junior holiday courses last 7 nights, from Sunday to Sunday, including arrival and departure.
For all new students, Monday is the first day. An English test is carried out to determine the correct level. This is followed by an orientation session so that students can familiarise themselves with the school rules, facilities and timetable. Our easy Language School in Brighton offers a weekly programme of activities and excursions, which take place either in the morning or in the afternoon. All activities are compulsory. After the activity, students return to their host families.

Super-Intensive Summer English Course for Teenagers – 35 lessons in Brighton
The Teen Course offers particularly intensive English language training for young people aged 15–17. This full-day language course comprises 35 teaching units. In this course, the language is used actively and pupils are prepared for today’s global mindset. The aim is to improve language proficiency and strengthen skills such as teamwork, collaboration and self-confidence. Course participants are introduced to topics such as critical thinking, negotiation, problem-solving and debating through case studies, research and team-building activities.

Of course, as well as technique and tactics, the programme also includes a stadium tour and a training kit (please bring your own football boots).

Our personally selected host families extend a warm welcome to you!
You’ll be staying with one of our experienced host families, who live between 20 and 50 minutes’ travel time from the school. Accommodation is in shared rooms. Staying with a host family encourages you to speak more English outside the classroom and to make new friends from all over the world.
On the day of your arrival, your host family will provide information about local bus services and how to get to and from school, so that you’re prepared for your first day at our easy Language School in Brighton. Host
families serve breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week. A hot lunch is provided by the University of Brighton for our summer holiday courses.
The package price includes the following: course materials, placement test, shared room in private accommodation, weekly bus pass (Monday–Sunday), a full-day excursion on Saturday (once a week), breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 nights’ accommodation per week, a certificate of completion, activities and excursions.
On Sundays, the airport shuttle to and from London Gatwick is included in the package price: students using this service must book flights that land between 09:00 and 17:30. For their departure, students must book flights departing from 11:00. For an additional charge, the airport shuttle service is also available to and from London Heathrow. Your host family in Brighton will offer you a warm and welcoming home for the duration of your stay! You’re sure to learn a thing or two about typical British customs whilst staying with your host family. You’ll be staying in 2–4-bed rooms with other young people, so you can practise your English together straight away. Full board is, of course, included.
The airport transfer to and from London Gatwick is included in the package price (arrival 08:00–18:00, departure 11:00–21:00). London Heathrow (arrival 08:00–17:00, departure 12:00–21:00) is also available at an additional cost.

Leisure time activities
Our easy language school in Brighton offers you a varied programme of activities and excursions, which is already included in the course fee.
This includes 1 half-day excursion, 1 full-day excursion and 4 afternoon activities per week.
Fun and action are guaranteed! As well as afternoons on the beach or at Brighton Pier, the programme even includes trips to London and Stonehenge!
On three evenings, group activities take place at the school, after which you’ll travel back to your host family on the public bus with other course participants. You’ll spend the other evenings with your host family. They’re sure to show you a thing or two about typical English customs and traditions.
Possible activities include swimming, canoeing, water skiing, pottery, discos and much more. And here are a few examples of excursions: London, Oxford, Stonehenge, Bath, Cambridge.
Football fans take note! In partnership with Premier League club Brighton & Hove, we’re offering a fantastic football & English programme for all football-mad boys and girls aged 12–17.
