English plus activities in York: together with children and teenagers from all sorts of different countries, you’ll learn English at our language school in York, in the heart of England. Through lots of fun and practical exercises, we’ll get you ready for everyday school life – it doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner or at an advanced level; we always have a range of groups to suit your language level. Warm and welcoming host families are looking forward to meeting you and will provide you with a lovely home away from home!
All our host families are carefully selected and vetted, and must meet the British Council’s quality criteria. You’ll be staying in twin rooms; if you’re travelling with a friend, you’re welcome to book a room together (but not boys and girls). All host families live close to the school and can be reached either on foot or by a short bus journey. The bus pass is included, as is the airport transfer from Manchester. You’ll receive full board (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner). Experience British culture and look forward to staying with a lovely host family.
